Young People’s Concert – Canceled

Welte Hall, Central CT State University 1615 Stanley Street, New Britain, CT

CCSU has canceled all events over 100 people through the end of April. Thus, our April 1 YPC is canceled. We do not yet know if it will be rescheduled this school year. We are disappointed we cannot perform for the children as planned but do understand the present public health situation.

Salute to Mothers – Canceled

Regretfully, due to the coronavirus outbreak, CCSU has closed their campus, including Welte Hall, and canceled all events through June 1. We will be looking into the possibility of rescheduling at another time, but not during this current concert season, which ends for us on June 30. We hope to see you back enjoying our wonderful orchestra soon.

What is the difference between a violin and a fiddle? The Country Fiddlers, led by Dana Takaki and Hugh Birdsall, will play some violin and some fiddle including a mix of covers and many originals written and performed in our own Connecticut country.
