Plainville 150th Anniversary
The Town of Plainville is celebrating its 150th anniversary the weekend of July 20-21 with several events, including a Community Picnic at Norton Park on Sunday, July 21st from 12-4pm that will feature musical performances, food trucks and entertainment based on the 1860s. The New Britain Symphony Orchestra's Brass Quintet will perform from 3-4pm, playing period music to mark Plainville's incorporation in 1869. Come celebrate with us!

Patio Tuesdays at One Liberty Square The New Britain Symphony Orchestra's Pan Ensemble joins Gallery 66 to present "Paint for Lunch" with JJ the Artist. What is the difference between a violin and a fiddle? The Country Fiddlers, led by Dana Takaki and Hugh Birdsall, will play some violin and some fiddle including a mix of covers and many originals written and performed in our own Connecticut country.
