Lemuel Salgado - 2009 Helen Kilduff-Elizabeth Elia Scholarship Winner

    Lemuel Salgado, was the 2009 Helen Kilduff-Elizabeth Elia Scholarship recipient.  A New Britain High School graduate, he is currently studying Musical Performance at Hartford Music Conservatory in Hartford, Connecticut.

    Although Lemuel won the scholarship with his vocal performance, he is a well-rounded performer, actively participating as a singer, dancer and trumpet player.

    The focus of Lemuel's first semester at Hartford Music Conservatory was Musical Theater, with solos in a variety of  productions, most recently, Onstage Review.

    This spring, Lemuel will be focusing on studies in Opera.
